in response to complaints to our lack lustre performance in posting deets of upcoming shows, here’s the next couple. no complaining now! plenty of time to clear the schedule for us!

generationext is a FREE program at the Museum of Contemporary Art connecting teenagers with current conversations in contemporary art and culture through after- hours social events linked to MCA exhibitions. Designed with input from the generationext Youth Committee. No teachers! No parents! Fully supervised by MCA Learning staff and drug and alcohol free.

climate camp in newcastle!

we shall deffo be there gettin educated and opposing the expansion of coal mining / export in australia. we may or may not take some instruments and play at this too. check out:

    i feel like i’ve had some influence. i finally know what’s going on now.
    i need to look into the next show properly, it said something about no adults but i need to check if that means under 18s.

    hahah indeed you have. we’re pretty sure it’s for 12-17 year olds only. ah well. as jo daniel put it “the whole world is for over 18’s so if anyone has a problem they can go cry in a corner”. i made the second half of that up, but you get the gist.

    imagine if you named your dog ‘cool’. when you wanted them to sit you’d say, “stay cool”. whenever you did this, people around you would always say “word, you too homeh”. you’d wonder why people kept saying that around you and your furry friend. until you read this comment and suddenly so many things in your life would make sense.
